Formación Académica
- Claudia Acero is currently working as a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Languages and Cultures at University de La Sabana in Chía, Colombia, South America where she teaches and tutors for the Master's programs in English Language Teaching–Autonomous Learning Environments- (in site) and Self-Directed Learning (online).
- Her experience in education includes teaching in all language levels from elementary school to graduate programs in private and public institutions, and also the design of language courses and subjects such as Didactics for English Language Teaching, Introduction to Phonetics, Setting Up and Optimizing Language Resource Centers I, Self-access Language Learning Materials, and Introduction to Research. She co-designed and administered a Teacher Development Course for Teachers of the Secretaría de Educación de Cundinamarca, Colombia called MEN TDP.
- Her work experience includes the direction of the Universidad de La Sabana language program and its language resource center –Studium-, and her current academic coordination of the online graduate program.
- She has also acted as the research director and counselor of several graduate students´ theses and research projects. Her research interests relate to educational management, technology in language learning, development of autonomy, online learning environments and teacher reflection.
