The Informatics Engineer at Universidad de La Sabana is able to perform with excellence in the following areas of work:

It comprises 175 Academic Credits to be developed in nine calendar semesters, including professional Internship; It has few prerequisites, which makes it easier for the student to organize their curriculum with flexibility. Approximately 60% of the credits of the study plan correspond to common subjects with other programs of the Faculty of Engineering, which gives the student the possibility of study a double program.

In line with the mission of the Faculty of Engineering, the Informatics Engineer from the Universidad de La Sabana is a professional who solves information management problems in organizations and communities, applying new technologies with ethical criteria and social responsibility. Their work is oriented towards responding to the needs and expectations of people and generating innovations. 

The Informatics Engineer from the Universidad de La Sabana can successfully work in positions related to information management and technology projects, organizational information systems, enterprise software engineering, web, multimedia, mobile, video games, interactive software, process control and automation, internet of things, and management of networks and technological infrastructure with computer security criteria.
