Internships
- Business Internships: Experiential learning opportunities for students to put into practice their knowledge and skills in real life scenarios, and contribute to the development of professional, intercultural, and human skills required to be competitive in the changing global context. Currently our School has partnerships with 572 companies and 60 NGOs.
- Social Internships: The social Internship enables students to work at foundations or NGOs and understand social realities within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. This internship allows students to work in improvement projects that contribute to the strengthening of these organizations, providing a direct benefit to the population and groups that they serve.
- Entrepreneurship Internships or students’ startups: This type of internship allows students to develop their internship in their own businesses, with the purpose of stimulating start-ups.
- Short Internships: Internships in which students from 3rd year and above work for 2 months on specific projects with Alumni entrepreneurs.
Minors or Expertise tracks
The school has five minors or expertise tracks that train students for disruptive global trends, digital transformation, and the needs of the corporate world. Each expertise track includes 12 academic credits (23 ECTS).
This minor provides participants with knowledge and tools for the adoption and implementation of analytics to complement companies decision-making processes. Courses include business analytics and Machine Learning models and applications as well as software to take advantage of data.
This minor provides a conceptual and critical framework on sustainability as well as the circular economy, and companies’ ERS. Each course promotes critical reflection on the role of companies and consumers and provides managerial tools to improve practices in organizations.
This minor provides participants with knowledge, and practical tools to implement strategies that generate omnichannel in business and helps train students in the use of different types of programs and software for consumer analysis. Courses contemplate how to differentiate single channel, multichannel and omnichannel marketing, types of strategies, logistics and distribution to reach the consumer from an omnichannel strategy, and applications in global markets.
This minor is focused on the development of skills for the creation of new services, products, business models and user experiences in the digital financial ecosystem. Courses include a comprehensive vision on financial inclusion and challenges and opportunities of the current Fintech models existing in Colombia and the world.
This minor seeks to promote digital entrepreneurship skills through the Thought & Action® (ET&A™) methodology to form agents of change for society. Participants will develop innovation abilities, learn about digital business models and 4R technology tools to foster the development of start-ups.
