She has extensive experience as a professor at different universities in the country at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has experience researching in Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and Transitional Justice. Additionally, she is the author of numerous articles published in specialized journals, books and book chapters and has participated as a speaker and organizer in different events related to her research area. She is currently co-director of the Research Group on International Law and Human Rights of Universidad de La Sabana.
