Knowing what triggers a disease is the central inquiry that drives the Biomedical Research Center of Universidad de La Sabana, CIBUS. Scientists deal with three 21st century target diseases, while working with molecules, genes and proteins. As a result, the research work of this group devotes on finding new proteins that can regulate the transcription of genes involved in the cell cycle and some metabolic pathways.
