Pain and Palliative Care
Description:
Patients and families who suffer from chronic diseases and have psychosocial, emotional or spiritual pain or symptoms are the target population of the Pain and Palliative Care research group. Its members have managed to generate new knowledge and influence health policies. All this, endeavoring to improve the life quality of patients with cancer and with chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neurological, for whom there are no curative treatments.
