Neurology is the specialty of Medicine that deals with the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in which the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system is affected. Among the areas covered by Neurology are General Neurology and specialties (Cephalea, Epilepsy, Abnormal Moves, Dementia, Muscle and Nerve, Neurophysiology, Sleep, Vascular, Neuropediatrics, etc.), critical care, infections, transplants, cancer and other neoplasms and benign diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
